My Services

I have developed my skills from hands-on content creation to strategic operations and management. I have produced content strategies and plans to support a range of organisational objectives. I’ve also produced social media strategies and content marketing strategies, with ideas across different channels, supported by channel plans, recommendations, guidelines and training. Take a look below for more details on how I can support you, your team and your organisation.

  • Whatever support you need, an element of discovery and research is critical. This can help engage your stakeholders and audiences, gather valuable insights, assess your content and channels, and consider the wider landscape you’re working in. I could support with:

    Stakeholder consultation and engagement

I love speaking to new people and finding out about their goals and challenges. You can trust me to build credibility and gather valuable feedback from your key stakeholders through 121 interviews and workshops. This is a useful activity at the start of any project to help identify challenges, issues, and opportunities.

    Audience research and insights

I can develop and execute an audience research plan to gather insights and feedback from your key audiences. This could take the form desk research including reviewing social media and forums, user testing, focus groups, surveys, and interviews. I’ll prepare and present the findings in the most useful way for you.

    Content audit and review

How is your content working for you? Is it supporting your goals and giving your audience what they need? Are you even aware of what you’ve got or is it a bit of a mess? I can perform an audit and review to capture and assess your current activity across digital and offline channels. This will help assess what’s working, what’s not and where you need to make changes.

    Channel audit and review

This is similar to the content audit but focuses more on the channels that are representing your brand. This is particularly useful if you have devolved marketing activity with lots of different digital channels being used by colleagues, volunteers or others across your organisation. Again, this can help you develop policies, guidelines and tactics to manage your online presence more effectively.

    Competitor review and benchmarking

A competitor review can be helpful for a number of reasons, whether you’re interested in comparing your services, messaging, marketing activity or content, we can see how you compare. It can also be useful to look beyond your typical competitors, at the organisations that are competing for your audience's time and attention. This can be useful inspiration for developing ideas and approaches.

    Concept testing

You might already have some ideas for your messaging, content and activities but how do you know if they’ll work before you invest too heavily in implementing them? I can lead concept testing and user testing activities to gather feedback and insights that will allow you to refine and develop your ideas before launch.

  • Defining audiences and objectives

Sometimes we’re so busy with the day-to-day, that we lose sight of our goals. I will revisit some key questions with you that will lay the foundations for your content strategy, and help you get clear on why you need content and who it’s for. This would be done by reviewing your strategies and plans (if they’re documented!) and through interviews or exploration workshops with your key stakeholders.

    Content strategy and recommendations

I can then develop your content strategy vision and recommendations outlining the approaches and tactics you should take to achieve your goals. This could include substance recommendations, content themes and pillars, and ideas for campaigns and content that will deliver against your goals and meet your audiences needs.

    Messaging frameworks

Often we need to communicate with a diverse range of audiences, each with different information needs and preferences. I can develop a messaging framework that will show you how to tailor your content for those different audiences. This would usually need to be informed by audience research.

    Content planning and ideation

If you want some more specific content marketing ideas for different channels, I can deliver those too. This is a good opportunity to engage your team with idea generation in a creative workshop format, but if you prefer I can work on this independently and come back to you with some suggestions.

    Copywriting and content creation

If you want help putting your content strategy into action, I can do that too. I can write your content for you either as a one-off or on an ongoing basis. Whether its website content, articles, email, social media, brochures or presentations. And if needed, I can work with your in-house team, graphic designers or other creatives for that extra boost.

  • Implementation support

Now you might have the strategy and plan, but do you have the people and skills to put it into action? If not, I can help with practical hands-on implementation. This could include prioritising recommendations, developing project plans or helping to define and embed new processes and workflows across your team or organisation.

    Guidance and training

I can support your team with the confidence, creativity and skills to execute your content strategy. Whether it’s training workshops, creation of policies and guidelines, toolkits, checklists or something else - I will work with you to identify the best methods and deliver the right resources.

    Project management

If you have a new project kicking off but don’t have the capacity to manage it, I can deliver it for you. With previous experience in operations, I can plan your project from scoping and timelines to stakeholder coordination and delivery, I’ll keep everything moving smoothly and on schedule.

  • Your on-call critical friend

If you’d like longer-term support I can act as your strategic content consultant and advisor available for regular check-ins, reviews or decision-making guidance. I’ll get to know your organisation so I can offer practical, context-aware advice whenever you need it.

Retained support for ongoing content creation

If you need an extra pair of hands but don’t want to recruit a full-time, permanent marketing or communications colleague, I can fill that gap. Whether it’s 1-2 days a month or 1-2 days a week, we can agree a retained package of support and I can step in to deliver your content and marketing strategy for you.
