About ME

I’m Ellie - mom to two young boys and a rescue dog named Lola. I’m passionate about birds, nature and the great outdoors, and we love exploring new places on family days out and in our touring caravan.

I have over 20 years experience in content strategy, digital communications, and operations. I’m passionate about helping organisations that educate and connect people with the places, communities and causes they care about.

I have developed my skills from hands-on content creation to strategic operations and management, guiding teams and organisations toward achieving their communication and engagement goals.

My background is primarily in the education sector. For over 20 years, I have worked with universities, FE colleges, international schools and alternative education providers to help improve the way they communicate with key audiences.

Whilst working at Pickle Jar Communications, clients included Aston University, Birmingham City University, Birmingham Newman University, Bocconi University (Milan), Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Imperial College London, Leeds Beckett University, The University of Oxford, The University of Oxford, Dudley College, United World Colleges, Zurich International School, Royal College of Music, The de Ferrers Academy and many more.

I have also worked in-house at Birmingham Metropolitan College and the University of Warwick.
